Welcome! This blog is dedicated to investigating motifs in the novel "Invisible Man" by Ralph Ellison. We will be tracking instances of power and oratory as they appear in the novel, and by the end we hope to have a better understanding of Ellison's argument and how these two motifs serve to build it.
